Usage notice

This notice explains how to use the tools on AdsLibrary.org and what we ask of you. It works together with our Terms of use and Privacy policy.

Research and reference only

Use the downloader and the ad library links to study public ads: how they are made, and what they offer. Open the downloader in an ordinary browser. Inside the built-in browser of Facebook or Instagram, the page asks you to switch to your system browser.

Do not use the results to republish, sell or run someone else's ad as your own, to build a collection of other people's ads, or to mislead, harass or impersonate anyone.

Don't reuse other people's ads

Ads, and their copy, images and videos, belong to their advertisers, creators and platforms. Copyrights and trademarks in an ad are owned by those rights holders. They are not owned by AdsLibrary.org, and they do not become yours when you download a copy.

Saving an ad for your own research does not give you the right to publish it, sell it, or run it as your own. If you want to reuse an ad, first get permission from its rights holder, and check the platform's rules.

Independent site

AdsLibrary.org is an independent third-party site with tools and guides for public ad libraries. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta, TikTok, Google, LinkedIn or Microsoft. Platform and ad library names are used only to describe the public libraries and the tools we link to.

Takedown requests

If you are a rights holder, an advertiser or a platform and want an ad, a link or our downloader removed, email legal@adslibrary.org. Include:

  • the ad ID or the ad link;
  • your name and organization;
  • the reason for the request, such as the copyright or trademark concerned, or the platform rule involved;
  • how we can contact you.

We review each request and act on it as quickly as we can. We do not promise a fixed time. When we receive a notice from a rights holder or a platform about the downloader, we take the downloader offline. The rest of the site stays up.
